About
The Community Bible Institute & Seminary INC is a seminary that equips believers with the theological depth, practical skills, and spiritual formation needed to make a lasting impact in ministry and Christian service.
WHO WE ARE
The Community Bible Institute & Seminary INC was founded on a simple but profound conviction: that the Church is only as strong as the leaders it raises up.
We exist to close the gap between a believer’s calling and their capacity to fulfill it by providing rigorous, Spirit-led training that prepares men and women for a lifetime of meaningful ministry.
From our founding, CBIS has been committed to serving believers who are serious about their faith and serious about their calling.
OUR MISSION
Community Bible Institute & Seminary exists to equip, empower, and activate Spirit-filled believers for effective Kingdom leadership. We provide biblically grounded, academically excellent, and Holy Spirit–led training that forms mature disciples, develops ministry gifts, and prepares students to serve the Church and impact the world with integrity, compassion, and spiritual authority.
CBIS is committed to raising up well-trained, Spirit-empowered leaders who transform lives, strengthen churches, and advance the Gospel locally and globally.
OUR VISION
Our vision at CBIS is to raise up mature, discerning leaders who transform lives, strengthen churches, and advance the Kingdom of God, one faithful servant at a time.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
When you enroll at CBIS, you are joining a community. We are committed to walking alongside every student with mentorship, accountability, and genuine pastoral care. Your success in ministry is our mission.
CBIS – WE BELIEVE
The Scriptures
We believe the Holy Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, revealing His will for humanity and serving as the final rule for faith, doctrine, and life.
The One True God
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and sovereign over all creation.
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the full deity, humanity, virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and soon return of Jesus Christ, the only Savior of the world.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the indwelling, empowering, sanctifying, and gifting work of the Holy Spirit, who equips believers for holy living and effective ministry.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, resulting in regeneration, justification, and adoption into the family of God.
The Church
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to worship, discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, and Kingdom advancement in the earth.
The Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct and empowering experience available to all believers, evidenced by spiritual gifts and bold witness.
Sanctification
We believe sanctification is both instant and progressive, accomplished by the Holy Spirit as believers yield to the Word and the will of God.
The Great Commission
We believe every believer is called to make disciples, preach the Gospel, and demonstrate the Kingdom of God in power and compassion.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the imminent, visible return of Jesus Christ and the final establishment of His eternal Kingdom.
Resurrection & Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, eternal life for believers, and eternal separation from God for those who reject Christ.
Kingdom Living
We believe believers are called to live as ambassadors of the Kingdom, walking in integrity, holiness, love, and Spirit-empowered purpose.
